Complete engine kits are designed to provide all of the basic necessary external hardware for an engine.
Each kit typically includes all of the bolts, washers and nuts to install a distributor, fuel pump, intake manifold, oil pan, thermostat housing, timing cover, valve covers and water pump. Of course each engine style requires slightly different hardware. Kits range from 120 + pieces to over 160 pieces. Most kits are available in 4 to 5 different styles of heads. They are Button Head, Hex Head, Indented Hex Head and Socket Head.
All kits are also available with Factory Polished ARP 6 and 12 point and Show Quality Polished ARP 6 and 12 point fasteners. These kits are found under the respective Polished tab.
These fasteners are superior to chrome plating as they will not rust, crack, peel or chip as it isn't a surface plating but the very substance from which the fastener is made.
Always use anti-seize on the threads..
