The show quality polished fasteners are the most impressive fasteners you will ever see. All markings, imperfections and knurls are first ground smooth. After the fastener is perfectly smooth a series of cutting and polishing wheels are used to arrive at a mirror like finish that shines brighter than any chrome plated fastener you have ever seen and it will not chip, flake or rust.

Stainless steel is a fairly soft metal and for this reason it tends to gall. Always use Anti-Seize or a similar product when working with stainless steel fasteners! If you have never had a stainless fastener gall on you before, it's not fun. When a fastener galls, it seizes.
 
DO NOT use standard strength stainless fasteners on critical race car applications such as rear ends, steering joints or motor mounts as well as on OEM/aftermarket braking or suspension systems.
 
We offer a full line of ARP 170,000 psi high strength "grade 8" stainless fasteners in 12pt and 6pt heads that work very well on these applications up through 7/16" diameter. Always refer to the application guidelines of the original manufacturer.
